What is Freemasonry?
Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. It is comprised of adult men (18+) of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education, and opinion, who believe in a Supreme Being. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country, and fraternity.
Brotherhood
A Freemason is committed to bettering himself, his community, and the world. He is on a journey of self-discovery believing in something greater than himself, a journey in which he will be supported by other good men.
Become the best version of you. Answer the call. Begin the journey.
We Believe
The core ethical principles of Freemasonry are about compassion and tolerance for all mankind. Freemasons do not use their position in the fraternity to advance an agenda, whether it be political, professional, religious, or secular.
Our Lodge
Pioneer Lodge 82 is chartered under The Grand Lodge of Arizona Free & Accepted Masons. We are proud to call Black Canyon City, Arizona our home, and we embrace the western heritage of our community.
Our stated meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7pm, with dinner preceding the meeting. We welcome visitors and those interested in learning more about Freemasonry.
